Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters

Onshore flow will increase tonight as low pressure deepens over the Texas Panhandle. As a result...an increase in low level moisture will occur...providing a chance for sea fog late tonight through Friday morning over the bays and nearshore waters. A cold front will push through the coastal waters early Saturday morning with strong offshore flow developing in its wake. There will be a slight chance of showers along the front. Offshore flow will gradually diminish through Sunday as high pressure enters south Texas.

Tonight South winds around 15 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet.
Friday South winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Friday Night South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Saturday West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 15 to 25 knots late in the morning...then becoming north around 30 knots in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 10 feet. Slight chance of showers.
Saturday Night North winds 20 to 25 knots. Gusts up to 35 knots early in the evening. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Slight chance of showers in the evening.
Sunday North winds around 15 knots becoming northeast 5 to 10 knots in the afternoon and evening...then becoming light after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Monday Light winds becoming east around 10 knots in the afternoon and evening...then becoming light after midnight. Seas 1 to 3 feet.
Tuesday Northeast winds around 10 knots becoming southeast. Seas 1 to 3 feet.
